2026 Nissan Armada NISMO Is a Big SUV with a 'Fast & Furious' Body Kit

Along with a 460-hp twin-turbo V-6, the Armada NISMO has a sportier chassis setup, bolder styling, and a lot of red accents.

When Nissan overhauled the Armada for the 2025 model year, it added an off-road-focused Pro-4X model for the first time, complete with red tow hooks, skid plates, and all-terrain tires. Now, the company continues to expand the full-size SUV's lineup, introducing the sporty 2026 Nissan Armada NISMO, which gains more power, an assertive body kit, and a retuned chassis.

Enter the Armada NISMO​

The NISMO still packs the same twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V-6 as lesser Armadas, but Nissan managed to extract an extra 35 horsepower, bringing the total to 460 ponies. Nissan says the gains came from engine reprogramming and revising the valve clearances. The Armada also has a retuned exhaust, but we weren't able to hear how it sounds. There's also an "Active Sound Enhancement" system that Nissan says boosts the engine note in the cabin.
