No, this is not a joke. Nissan is bringing the Armada Nismo to the US.
Don’t adjust your phone, television, or computer—this is not April Fools. Nissan is rolling out the Armada Nismo later this year. Nissan squeezed some extra oomph out of the Armada’s 3.5-liter turbocharged V6, retuned the suspension, and added a distinctive Nismo styling package. The Nissan GT-R and versions of the Z car, Sentra, and Juke have carried the Nissan Motorsports International badge in the recent past—along with the Frontier pickup for aggressive off-roading—and now it’s the three-row Armada SUV’s turn. Under the hood is still the same turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 as the rest of the Armada family, but the folks at Nismo bumped the output to 460 hp.
